Just a few days after I posted here about Reuleaux triangles, among other things, Cheezburgr ran a post with this awesome gif showing how they are used to turn circular motion into rounded corner square drill bits

EDIT: My Cornish friend Kimbo points out to me that Reuleaux triangles have featured on QI, although Stephen Fry pronounces Reuleaux slightly differently to how I would.
