New home, new phone, new haircut

Another foray down the paths of hi tech. If this works, I’ll have managed to blog from a moving train.

House purchase went through yesterday with no further hitches. About 3ish we got the keys. The big jobs are all still to come, and it will probably be at least 6 weeks until we can move in.

I finally found an Orange shop to upgrade in and let myself be talked into a 3G phone that can video conference. Not convinced I ever will even if I ever find someone else with the facility. It’s not like I’ve ever even successfully sent a picture message… It’s going to take a very long time to get used to this Nokia 6680. The buttons and layout are a real change from the 6230 and not really an improvement. I was threatening to return it the minute I found it takes 6 keystrokes just to start a text message.

And finally, a new haircut. I’ve been fed up with the long hair for ages, and the thought of even more sinks to block with long blond hairs was just too much. So it’s radically shorter and apparently trendy. And makes me look like a cross between a hamster and Eddie Izzard.
